When Samantha first reached out to me about her wedding, we clicked immediately! She has the sweetest and most personable personality!! We talked for quite a while on the phone during her consultation, laughing and discussing ideas like old friends. Then we met in person at a local Starbucks in San Antonio and it just solidified our relationship! I could NOT WAIT for their engagements!! She had discussed doing a vintage styled look for their outfits and she showed up and DID NOT disappoint!! How adorable are they?? And their sweet fur baby just topped the cake for me! The small town of Gruene was the perfect backdrop for their session. It provided a variety of unique and fun setting for each of their looks. I couldn’t have asked for a better location to shoot in!

Prior to this session, I had learned that Taylor’s sweet mother had unexpectedly passed away. From what I had learned, she was so excited for their upcoming nuptials. I prayed and prayed that this session would be fun, help Taylor relax, enjoy the session, and most importantly, I wanted to take portraits that would have made his late mother proud. Although I never got the opportunity to meet her, I’m sure she will be with them through out this new journey and I hope she’s smiling and loving the love shown in these images between these two.
